irq 13 math error

when i cat my /proc/interupts, i get the following:

0: 267128 timer
1: 8376 keyboard
2: 0 + cascade
3: 143281 + serial
4: 524 + serial
7: 0 Gravis Ultrasound
13: 1 math error
^^^^^^^^^^
14: 65696 + ide0
15: 24 + ide1

[kern 1.3.71 / gcc-2.7.0]

I have seen this on several other systems aswell, but i'd like to know what
this "error" is.
