I have updated ftape to compile against kernel version 1.3.70, which
changed a few things wrt interrupts.
I am NOT making patches available this time, since I have reformatted
the text to comply with the Kernel's Coding Style (tabs = 8 spaces,
etc), by using indent + judicious editing.
As usual, ftape is available from my private ftp area, URL:
ftp://pip.dknet.dk/pub/pip93
MD5-sums for the source code are as follows:
MD5 (ftape-2.07-1.3.70.diff.gz) = 9b50b32291e42cc0de94f9b534449e4c
MD5 (ftape-2.07.lsm) = 05e28d1babbda741a667c8cde1dd2ea1
MD5 (ftape-2.07.tar.gz) = 63bf9a29a8b318807c16187a2aefe7f6
I have integrated the ftape driver into the kernel source tree, and
this version is available as ftape-2.07-1.3.70.diff.gz. I'm trying to
talk Linus to put it into the kernel release before 2.0, but I have
received no response whatsoever from him about this.
So, if you'd like to see ftape going into the kernel release, please
test it out and drop me (or Linus ;-) a mail.
As always,
Kai
