Unfortunately, I get a fatal error (Sequencer Ram Parity Error) with th=
e
new driver. "Fixed" by reverting to the old code. I don't know enough a=
both
the Adaptec stuff to be of much help here, unfortunately.
FYI, the old code says in /proc/scsi/aic7xxx/0:
Adaptec AIC7xxx driver version: 2.15/2.2/2.3
Compile Options:
AIC7XXX_RESET_DELAY : 15
AIC7XXX_TWIN_SUPPORT : Enabled
AIC7XXX_TAGGED_QUEUEING: Disabled
AIC7XXX_SHARE_IRQS : Enabled
AIC7XXX_PROC_STATS : Disabled
Adapter Configuration:
SCSI Adapter: AHA-2940
Host Bus: Single
Base IO: 0xf000
IRQ: 10
SCB: 8 (16)
Interrupts: 12900988
Serial EEPROM: True
Pause/Unpause: 0x0e/0x0a
Extended Translation: Enabled
SCSI Bus Reset: Enabled
Ultra SCSI: Disabled
Obviously I don't know what the new code says. :-(
> - /proc/mounts
Any chance to get all the arguments in there? NFS, particularly, wants =
its
soft/intr/addr/... flags.
NB, checking:
# /bin/mount | grep mirror
galois.suse.de:/mirror on /mirror type nfs (ro,intr,soft,bg,retrans=3D3=
2,addr=3D193.141.17.193)
# grep mirror /proc/mounts
galois.suse.de:/mirror /mirror nfs rw 0 0
Something seems amiss here -- /mirror is mounted read-only.
