Cache mismatch on TCP
I had a look in net/ipv4/tcp.c (line 4746), but I'm not 100% sure why =
the cache pointer does not match the get_sock return value, and what's =
causing this.
Could someone please fill me in, and maybe tell me how to eliminate it =
(other than commenting out the cache hit test)?
Oh, the kernel is compiled as elf, with 3c509 driver and aha1522 scsi =
card compiled in, all else as modules, 16Mb RAM using gcc 2.7.0, =
libc.so.5.0.9 and libc.so.4.7.2 (not that any of that's very important).
Regards,
David
Oh, one other problem has continued to evade me - which may or may not =
be related to the kernel directly. Every time I try to make/install =
mods, then depmod, module I get the following error for every installed =
module
I'm using the command /sbin/depmod -a
*** Unresolved symbol in module /lib/modules/1.3.30/misc/lp.o
mod_use_count_
etc...
What's causing this? I've looked in the depmod source and can see the =
mangling it's doing to bypass/conform to elf variable naming, but it =
still doesn't seem to work.
