Could anyone tell me (with 100% surety) whether any of the
general purpose registers (EAX,EBX,ECX...EFLAGS...) of an
i386/486 contain, at any instant of time, a value that is a
address of a PHYSICAL MEMORY LOCATION.
Of course, they may contain values which are within the
virtual address space of a process. But can they hold
a pointer to a phsyical address of the process.
(FYI : I am working on someting which might be of interest
to all Linuxers. Shall inform Linus once i have ironed it out)
