I was trying to start pppd, I had got to the point of giveing up on this
try, so send a SIGARLM to chat to make it give up, swiched back to the
vt i was running my script from, and got the EIP from killall (also in
messages). By the time i had realised that there was a message, I had
connected ... (just me typeing ahead ....)
ok, the messages:
