- By using lots of boilerplate whether or not it was really relevant,
and by documenting procedures down to a very low level, the size
of the average source file *doubled*. It took much longer to find
things in the files due many-line comments between every procedure.

This is probably a reasonable objection. I've been thinking about
overcoming it. There's a version of *grind that produces HTML. So
that someone could write a kernel browser that could take a kernel
source file, and another file that contained the detailed comments,
combine the two on the fly and output HTML. The nice thing about
doing it that way is that you could let people click on a variable or
procedure name, and move to its definition.
