Emacs 19.29 and libc 5.2.3.

I compiled emacs 19.29 with gcc 2.7.0 and libc5.2.3. The highlight bar
when run on the console looks as though it were "backspaced" about 40
characters. If you try anything like spliting the screen vertically or
horizontally then you get a REALLY messed up screen. None of my other
programs compiled with curses/termcap/ncurses are messing up.

Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?

P.S. Yes, my TERM, /etc/termcap, and /usr/lib/terminfo are correct.
