Why separate these BUILD_BUG_ONs into 2 different functions?

Why not just
BUILD_BUG_ON(sizeof(struct goldfish_pipe_command) > PAGE_SIZE);
BUILD_BUG_ON(sizeof(struct goldfish_pipe_dev_buffers) > PAGE_SIZE);
