No one has proven any memory savings yet, so why are you saying this is
noticable?
I didn't mean to imply that the VT subsystem itself was necessarily responsible for any space savings, I simply intended to point out that savings of a few pages can make a difference.

On that note though, I think I've got something that should work to check this across a couple of different configurations, so I'll hopefully have results soon.
