[PATCH 08/11] perf kvm: allow for variable string sizes

From: Christian Borntraeger
Date: Fri Apr 25 2014 - 05:19:04 EST

From: Alexander Yarygin <yarygin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

This makes it possible for other architectures to decode to different
string lengths.

Needed by follow-up patch "perf kvm: add stat support on s390".
