Usability regressions over large periods of time

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've been tracking huge usability regressions in the Linux kernel
dating back to the 1.2.x days.

The tl;dr here is: The linux kernel project has essentially turned
into a big ball of bloated shit.

Please fix it immediately.
