Yes, there are dozens of acpi interrupts every second.

$ cat /proc/interrupts | grep acpi ; sleep 1; cat /proc/interrupts |
grep acpi
9: 1776309 0 IO-APIC-fasteoi acpi
9: 1776332 0 IO-APIC-fasteoi acpi
