A few guys moving a linux server with 7 years uptime to a new
destination in Hamburg via subway without disrupting power supply, just
to keep the uptime (and get some fun out of it). They claim, it's 8
years and two month now.

Sound is german only, but anyway. Unfortunately, all proofs, they're not
faking are blured...

Reminded me, that I had my personal _diskless_ WS running for about a
few month without reboots in that time frame (although also often using
evil technology like VMWare for a XP VM, etc..).

These solid as a rock 2.4 kernels aren't beaten since then.
