I am trying to upgrade my kernel from 2.6.18-53 to 2.6.32-7, the problem i am
having is that the 2.6.32 kernel will not recognize my SATA disk. I have a Dell
Vostro 1000 & have happily been using linux(centos5) with no issues.
Â
Ive ensured the correct options have been set in .config, included libata, ahci
within the kernel(they are not modules) and checked various other information
sources on the net, but it still does not work.(this is the 3rd night now &
still no fix)
