That simply does not make sense. Have you confirmed that this check:

switch (xfertype) {
case USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_ISOC:
case USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_INT:
/* too small? */
if (urb->interval <= 0)
return -EINVAL;

really triggers?
