That's a historic copyright notice in essence which we should not 
remove - we should preserve that as:

> + Original 32-bit version written by Martin Mares <mj@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

(preferably with a date-of-that-original-patch inserted as well)
