[ANNOUNCE] GIT 1.6.1-rc2

Another week, another rc. There are no outstanding features that should
graduate from 'next' anymore until final.


git-1.6.1-rc2.tar.{gz,bz2} (source tarball)

git-manpages-1.6.1-rc2.tar.{gz,bz2} (preformatted docs)

The RPM binary packages for a few architectures are also there.
