    here is my kernel2.6.26.2 .config file; and both the CONFIG_MODVERSIONS and CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_LOAD is not set.thanks!~

Can you please provide your .config file?
I'm mostly curious about
CONFIG_MODVERSIONS
CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_LOAD
