Linux is Great and the Microkernel

Linux is Great not because it's Great it's not but because it's GNU.

Linux is monolithic.
That's good for performance, bad for scalability.
The Microkernel is scalable, slower by design.
A monolithic kernel can run a microkernel as a module.

Linux is Great!
