So, in this case, which would be considered the latest stable kernel to be used in production? I can see this getting to a stage where you just pick and hope :-(

Do you have some other way to get a kernel now? Do you go to a new kernel right after it's released? Not to mention the question of which patches do you apply as they come out? I like np, but I have used ck and mm (and heavily used aa and ac when they were available).
