Better devfs plans

Must post.  Can't stop fingers.

Why not just rip out devfs now?  If some distro really really wants to 
continue using it, let them maintain a patch for it.  I bet if it is taken 
out now, any (real) shortcomings of udev will be very quickly addressed.
