2.5.6 Swap weirdness

Hello,

     in linux kernel 2.5.6 swap statistics are displayed incorrectly. Used
space is added to total swap size and not subtracted from free space. See
attached output

[root@nevskij proc]# free
             total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 257348 159748 97600 0 9328 41004
-/+ buffers/cache: 109416 147932
Swap: 152800 24320 128480
[root@nevskij proc]# cat /proc/swaps
