PDC20262 seems to require edge-triggered interrupts

I've got a box with a new PDC20262 ide controller in it and it locks up
during boot unless I set the pci irqs to be edge activated. This is with
kernel versions 2.4.9 and 2.4.10-pre2. Does anybody happen to know
whether this is a kernel issue or a hardware issue? (Perhaps a hardware
issue with the ide and the older bios (Award v4.51PG) interacting?) The
Promise controller has bios version 1.14 (Build 0728).

Thanks,
-Jacob

No. That's where you're wrong. This is reality. It is a self- sustaining ecosociosystem powered by inter-universe warp generators.
