Mem detection problem

This is a repost of a problem that received few serious replies (IMNSHO).

Basically 2.4.0 detects 192 MB(maybe 191, but big whoop) of memory. This
is correct. However, 2.4.1-ac6 (as did Linus-blessed 2.4.1) detects 64.
The problem is simple. 2.4.1 and later for some reason (with my
motherboard/BIOS combination) uses bios-88, instead of e820. I have a
MS-6167 Athlon board (as evidenced in the dmesg).

I know this has not happened to everyone, or I would have seen it on lk,
but it seems unlikely that I am the only one with this board/BIOS.

Attached are the dmesgs from 2.4.0 and 2.4.1-ac6.

Please cc all replies, as I am not subscribed (I do read the archives.)
