     Can't boot compaq proliant 7000 with 2.4.0-test9

[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
     I upgraded kernel version 2.2.12(redhat 6.0) to 2.4.0-test9.
     It was only kernel upgrade.
     
     Can't boot compaq proliant 7000 (Intel P-III 500Mhz Xeon * 4CPU, RAM 1GB)
     It uses Compaq SMART ARRAY-3100ES raid controller.

     But my proliant 7000 system had no problem with Linux kernel 2.2.12.
