It seems that it's fairly easy to get a ramfs stuck:
# mkdir bar
# mount -t ramfs bar bar
# umount bar
# mount -t ramfs bar bar
# chown nobody bar
# umount bar
umount: /root/bar: device is busy
#
This doesn't appear to affect ext2 filesystems, though.
