What about being spammed with messages about not being able to use NFSv3
(happens here enough to be anoying, mostly Solaris NFS servers + selfcompiled
(stock) kernels on RH)? And no clear way to get at said patches sure
doesn't help to get them tested, fixed and up to Linus' standards.
