Menuconfig has Encountered an Error

When trying to configure for ‘multimedia devices’ for
kernel version 2.4.0-test7-pre7, I get an error and
end up back in console mode prompt and get this error
message below:

Menuconfig has encountered a possible error in one of
the kernel configuration files and is unable to
continue. Here is the report.

Q> scripts/Menuconfig:Mcmen49: command not found

Thus now I am reporting this to you as the message
said to do so.

Have you fixed the problem yet with ‘umsdos’
configured into the kernel? The kernel will not
complete its compilation with 'umsdos' configured into
the kernel. I did not try to configure it in
test7-pre7 yet. I see several people reporting this
and not just me.

One more thing. How can I post my messages in the
linux-kernel forum? Or does it post there when I
email you here?
