This was partly fixed in the test1-ac* kernels, but most
of those "fixes" haven't made it into Linus' kernel.
This item should probably be moved to "Should be fixed but
non-showstopper" or somesuch.
(no stability impact, except under loads where 2.2 would
fail as well)
