this patch, i hope, will fix a lot of old problems and new ones :)
soon i'll receive some boards that are supported by eepro driver (until
now i only have a etherexpress 10), so all my new changes will be tested
also on "older" boards (thanks to Patrick Keane and John J. LeMay
Jr). again, sorry for any inconvenience that my mistakes may caused.
