        In /etc/pcmcia/config.opts, you need have uncommented the following lines or
you need to insert them if they do not exist...........
          ============
# First built-in serial port
exclude irq 4
# Second built-in serial port
exclude irq 3
        =====================
/dev/modem is a symlink to /dev/ttyS2
        That's how I got mine to show my serial ports and pcmcia modem in the standard
way on sensible IRQ's.
