Basis SuSE 6.4, gcc 2.95.2, works perfectly on:
UP PIII550 512MB mem, P2B-S, 1 IBM disk, and
SMP 2xPIII550 1GB mem, P2B-DS, 4 IBM disks.
Performance vs. 2.2.16: allow 24...48 hours.
