Running test2 now (which includes this fix).
It's better, no more dma timeouts and the machine hasn't crashed yet.
However applications still die with segmentation faults and I get
spurious compilation errors (syntax errors in C files that aren't
there the second time around). Running several simultaneous md5sum's
on a ~300Mb files also produces different results.
