Assumedly, if documented properly, that's less of an issue.

A thing that trapped me and possibly others is the fact that most
distributions use --no-nfs-version-3 (or what that's exactly called) on
their rpc.kmount in their boot scripts, which breaks Solaris clients,
that decide "oh, the server has NFSv3, let's mount V3" - and nfsv3 +
mount denying nfsv3 is a nasty trap, since you end up with "permission
denied" on Solaris, which is true, but misleading.

Of course, you can tell Solaris vers=2, but that's not what NFSv3 is
about, eventually ;)
