First kernel with intel 840 chipset support

Based on general traffic on this list I am probably a bit off topic and for
that I apologize, but I can't seem to find the answer to my question
anywhere. So if one of could help I would greatly appreciate it.

I am looking for the first kernel that had support for the intel 840
chipset, stable support that is. <grin>
