I also have an P5A, with 64M RAM. I tried make -j bzImage on
2.4.0-test1-ac11, under 2.4.0-test1-ac11 and 2.2.13

Under 2.4.0-test1-ac11 it just stops after a while, nothing responds
anymore. The only vc that "works" is where I'm compiling. I pressed ^C
there, and it stopped.

Under 2.2.13, I get "Out of memory for make" after some time, so I stopped
it there.

It doesn't seem to crash here.
