Check the 'Specification Update' in developer.intel.com:
http://developer.intel.com/design/pro/specupdt/ (For PentiumPro)

In the list Bugs (Intel call it Errata), if you find: 'workaround: BIOS'
, it means that the last microcode (normally loaded by BIOS) will correct
the bug.
