Hi,

I have been doing lots of backing up here. After going to ac10
this is no longer possible. I get all sorts of errors like:

mt -f /dev/ht0 status
and kern.log shows:
Jun 6 16:57:45 oscar kernel: ide-tape: Reached idetape_chrdev_open
Jun 6 16:57:45 oscar kernel: ide-tape: ht0: I/O error, pc = 10, key = 2, asc = 4, ascq = 1
Jun 6 16:57:45 oscar kernel: ide-tape: Block location is unknown to the tape
Jun 6 16:57:45 oscar kernel: ide-tape: ht0: I/O error, pc = 1, key = 2, asc = 4, ascq = 1
Jun 6 16:57:57 oscar kernel: ide-tape: ht0: I/O error, pc = 10, key = 3, asc = 30, ascq = 0
Jun 6 16:57:57 oscar kernel: ide-tape: ht0: I/O error, pc = 1e, key = 5, asc = 20, ascq = 0
Jun 6 16:57:57 oscar kernel: ide-tape: ht0: I/O error, pc = 10, key = 3, asc = 30, ascq = 0
Jun 6 16:57:57 oscar kernel: ide-tape: ht0: I/O error, pc = 1e, key = 5, asc = 20, ascq = 0

This is using a ide-tape as a module with a via MP3 chipset and an HP Colorado 20GB
internal drive. Notices some IDE changes when in in ac9...

Ideas?
