i've tested your eepro100.c and it runs well.
i guess the "card reports no resources." thing is just
a debugging message right?
on a `ping -f` test, your eepro100 came up with 1% packet
loss and round trip avg 41 ms. the original eepro100 had
2% packet loss and round trip avg 45 ms.
so yours must be better.
