Yes. I swore I typed in a message too. Oh well, lets try that again.
With mount from util-linux 2.10m, 2.3.99-pre9+ (which allows you to mount
one device multiple times now) and an /etc/fstab which specifices devices
by LABEL= (and quite probably UUID=) mount -a will continue to mount those
partitions over and over. What would happen prior to this "feature" is
mount -a would simply try and mount those partitions but fail. Not a critical
bug (it doesn't seem to do any harm). But I know both Debian and RedHat
initscripts do a mount -a at somepoint (which is why I noticed it).
