OK, I'm running 2.4.0-test1-ac7 with bbuf=1 in tlan.c.

I have been hammering the box with apachebench for
about 2 hours now, and the load average has been
hovering around 150 the whole time, but no network
hiccups and no failed requests either.

Sweet.

I'll let it run the rest of the day like this just to make
sure, but it looks like that was it.

maybe TLAN_BBUF would be a useful config option?
