Basically, I made it work by entering the BIOS setup and then exiting without
changing anything (which is rather strange, but anyways...). It will keep
working until next power cycle.

Please tell me is this solution (or the other one, booting 2.2.15 then warm
booting) works for you (if it does, I smell a bug in the kernel...)
