Hello all,

I have a Promise FastTrak66 IDE card and two identical drives attached
to it. I have the latest kernel (2.3.99-pre9) and here's the relevant
dmesg section I get...

Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE driver Revision: 6.30
ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with
idebus=xx
PIIX4: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 21
PIIX4: chipset revision 1
PIIX4: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
    ide0: BM-DMA at 0xd800-0xd807, BIOS settings: hda:DMA, hdb:pio
PDC20262: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 58
PDC20262: chipset revision 1
PDC20262: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
PDC20262: (U)DMA Burst Bit ENABLED Primary MASTER Mode Secondary
MASTER Mode.
    ide2: BM-DMA at 0xa000-0xa007, BIOS settings: hde:pio, hdf:pio
hda: CD-ROM CDU701, ATAPI CDROM drive
hde: WDC WD102BA, ATA DISK drive
ide0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7,0x3f6 on irq 14
ide2 at 0xb400-0xb407,0xb002 on irq 10
hde: 20028960 sectors (10255 MB) w/2048KiB Cache, CHS=19870/16/63,
UDMA(66)
hda: ATAPI 14X CD-ROM drive, 128kB Cache, DMA
Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.08
Partition check:
 hde: hde1

Why is there only one channel showing up? Shouldn't there be an
"ide3" there too? It is only seeing one drive (hde), so I imagine
when ide3 shows up hdg will also show up???

Is my configuration incorrect?

Thanks

bct
