Oops in 2.3.99-pre6

Hi,

I don't know if this problem is fixed with pre8,
because with pre8 I have a different problem
with the keyboard, which jams the machine
much earlier.

Anyway, if anyone thinks that an oops report
for an old kernel could be of any use, then mail
me and I'll collect all the info as requested
in REPORTING-BUGS.
