Hi,

Please consider the attached patch against pre9-3 for the bttv driver.

Patch summary:
New PCI style initialization.

Fixes for a couple of deadlocks

Replaces cli(); restore_flags(); with a spinlock.

Improves locking. (now it takes more than 10 seconds
                   to completely lock my machine :)

Fixes for monolithic driver compilation.

Tested with a single card on a SMP machine compiled
as a module and into the kernel.
