Some time ago I tried pre-2.2.16-2 + ide.2.2.15.20000504 with VIA82CXXX

First I though that I screwed merging 2.2.16-2 and ide patch, but after
carefully reading sources I realised that there is very little possibility
of that.

BTW: I have VIA 693A + 596B. It is recognised as 691 but it's OK.
