Thanks.

In any case it doesn't work here (RedHat 6.2 + updates, linux-2.3.99-pre9-2
on sparc): "make pdfdocs" runs over JadeTeX memory limits

    This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-13d (Web2C 7.3.1)
    (parportbook.tex[/usr/share/texmf/pdftex/config/pdftex.cfg]
    JadeTeX 1999/06/29: 2.7
    (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1ptm.fd)
    (/usr/share/texmf/tex/jadetex/isoents.tex
! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [hash size=10000].
    l.1417 \expandafter\def\csname EntnvDash\endcsname
                                                      {\ensuremath{\nvDash}}% U2...

! ==> Fatal error occurred, the output PDF file not finished!

The files seem to contain errors too:

    db2pdf kernel-api.sgml
jade:kernel-api.sgml:4280:27:Q: length of name token must not exceed NAMELEN (44)
jade:kernel-api.sgml:4321:27:Q: length of name token must not exceed NAMELEN (44)
jade:kernel-api.sgml:7772:27:Q: length of name token must not exceed NAMELEN (44)

And later:

    db2pdf parportbook.sgml
jade:parportbook.sgml:2055:10:E: character "_" not allowed in attribute specification list
    jade:parportbook.sgml:2055:10:E: element "DEFANGED" undefined
jade:parportbook.sgml:3232:11:E: end tag for element "APPENDIX" which is not open
jade:parportbook.sgml:3233:6:E: end tag for "DEFANGED" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified
    jade:parportbook.sgml:2055:1: start tag was here
