I just did rm -rf linux-2.3.99-pre9-2 and I got this:
EXT2-fs error (device ide0(3,3)): ext2_free_blocks: bit already cleared for block 1048576

System info:
Linux version 2.3.99-pre9 (root@kpc) (gcc version 2.95.2 20000313 (Debian GNU/Linux)) #1 Wed May 17 21:16:06 EDT 2000
