My make menuconf. error

Hi, my name Setiaji Kurniawan(Setiaji@n2life.com) from Indonesia. I have a problem with my make menuconfig. Using kernel 2.2.12-20 on an i586. All option in menuconfig is error except sound module. The message is
Q>scripts/Menuconfig:MCmenu1:command not found.
Can you help me?
